What is it
Soursop — Annona muricata, known across the tropics as Graviola, Guanabana, and in India as Lakshman Phal (Tamil Mullu Seetha, “spiny custard-apple”) — is a small evergreen tree native to the American tropics and long naturalised across South India. While the spiny green fruit is eaten fresh, it’s the leaf that folk tradition has always reached for, brewed as a gentle evening tea valued for its calming, restorative character. We take the pure whole leaf, carefully dried and milled, and present it single-ingredient in a vegan capsule — the traditional wellness leaf, without brewing a pot.
What Makes This Different
- Pure whole leaf, single ingredient. Whole Annona muricata leaf powder — no fillers, binders, flow agents or extract dilution. Vegan capsule shell.
- The leaf, the part tradition uses. Soursop’s wellness tradition centres on the leaf, not the spiny fruit; we use leaf, and say so.
- The evening tea, made simple. Brewing soursop leaf is a ritual; the capsule delivers the clean leaf with none of the steeping.
- Certified base: FSSAI Central Licensed, GMP compliant, ISO 22000.
What It Does
- A leaf long taken for calm and wellness. Across the Caribbean, South America and tropical India, soursop leaves have been brewed as an evening infusion valued for their naturally calming, restorative character.
- Naturally antioxidant-rich — for cellular protection. Laboratory assays (DPPH, ABTS) record notable free-radical-scavenging activity in soursop-leaf extracts, tied to flavonoids such as rutin and other phenolics — supporting the body’s everyday defence against oxidative stress (in vitro).
- Traditionally valued for immune wellness. Long used as a folk wellness tonic, soursop leaf naturally contains vitamin C and antioxidant polyphenols that support the body’s everyday resilience.
- Traditionally calming. The leaf’s alkaloids have been studied for a soothing effect on the nervous system, echoing its long use as a relaxation tea (animal / traditional).
- Emerging angle — a rutin-rich phenolic profile. Soursop leaf’s distinctive, rutin-led polyphenol makeup is an active area of antioxidant research (in vitro).

How to Take It
Take one veg capsule once or twice daily with water, as part of your routine — traditionally soursop leaf is enjoyed in the evening for its calming character. In keeping with traditional practice, it’s best taken cyclically — a few weeks on, with regular breaks — rather than continuously over long periods. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, giving it to a child, or taking prescription medication or managing a health condition, consult a healthcare professional before use.
